Africa Free Trade Expo

The Africa Free Trade Expo is an event that seeks to promote the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and provide a platform for South African entrepreneurs to learn about the opportunities presented by the agreement. The event will take place on 05-06 November 2024, during Heritage Month, at The Vodacom World Conference Centre in Midrand, South Africa.

Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of the Expo are to promote the benefits of the AfCFTA, provide a platform for entrepreneurs to learn about the requirements and regulations of the AfCFTA, showcase the products and services of South African entrepreneurs, and promote dialogue and cooperation between South African entrepreneurs and their counterparts from other African countries.

Target Audience

The target audience for the Expo includes all South African entrepreneurs, as well as entrepreneurs from other African countries, experts and industry leaders from across the continent, and representatives from African embassies and trade and marketing officers. The target audience is interested in learning about the benefits and opportunities of the AfCFTA, networking with experts and industry leaders from across the continent, and expanding their businesses and accessing new markets on the continent.

Theme

The theme of the Africa Free Trade Expo is “Advancing SME’s Interest in the Africa Continental Free Trade Area ( AfCFTA)” The event will feature keynote speakers and presenters from the African business community, government officials, and policy experts. The Expo will consist of various sessions and workshops, focusing on the themes of economic integration, entrepreneurship, and trade. There will be a dedicated space for exhibitors to showcase their products and services.
